Slow Down

This chill playlist is great because there are no lyrics to grab my attention, yet it won’t put me to sleep.

Sacred Vibe

As soon as I hear any of these songs something clicks within me & I instantly feel my vibe switch.

Our Braver Space Agreement

Our collective intention for Full Moon Ritual is to cultivate a sacred space where we can share our truth, live our truth, & be our truth, while at the same time explore when our truth is a belief ready to be unlearned.*

To create a Braver Space, we all agree to practice these 2 main principles:

Consent

We ask before we give.

  • Can I ask you a question about that?

Our space is for developing intuitive wisdom, not advice-giving.

We also ask for what we need:

  • I need to be seen & heard.

  • I need to be quiet & not share.

Consent is ongoing. We can always change our mind.

Trust

We trust in the sacred circle. What is shared in circle, remains in circle.

We trust in our ability to discern when it’s our time to share & when it’s our time to listen.

We trust each other to nourish Self, whether that be turning off our video or trying something that doesn’t work.

We trust in our shared devotion to collective liberation & our desire to unlearn.

*Gratitude to Robin DiAngelo’s work in her book, “White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism,” regarding group agreements & the difference between truth & beliefs.

Please reflect on these Braver Space questions:

What do I need to personally ask of myself so I can show up as a braver ME?

What do I need to ask of the group so I can show up as a braver ME?

During Full Moon Ritual we review our agreements & add any additional so we can co-create our space.

How to Prepare YourSelf

Ritual begins as soon as you register–a marker of your intention.

Notice what changes. Notice what doesn’t.

At least 24 hours before

Complete the “Unearth Your Intention” journal prompts & reflect on your personal Braver Space agreements.

During the day

Reduce intake of caffeine & other mind/body altering substances. This ritual is a practice in the subtle.

For the ritual

Adorn yourself in ways that empower YOU &/or represent your Full Moon Ritual intention.

Unearth Your Intention

To unearth your Full Moon Ritual intention, grab your journal & explore the below questions.

There are NO wrong answers. Leave room to be surprised. Allow your intuition to lead. #YouDoYou

These prompts are intended to build upon one another. Carve out time to explore all the questions in a single session.

  1. Why am I showing up for this ritual?

2. What do I hope to gain from this ritual?

3. How does participating in this ritual support my vision, goals, & dreams?

4. What will I need to do (or NOT do) so I can integrate this ritual into my daily life?

Intentions are most powerful when they are concise.

Create your Full Moon Ritual intention by filling in the blanks:

My Full Moon Ritual intention is ___________ so I can __________.

How to Prepare Your Space

Create an environment that feels nourishing while at the same time supports you in staying engaged.

Turn off notifications on all the things

Energetically clear the space: ring bells, burn herbs/incense, salt the edges, or whatever feels good.

Tell your housemates & put a sign on your door.

Adjust the lighting to match both your desired vibe & allow you to be seen on Zoom.

Gather pillows, blankets, cushions, backjacks. Be cozy.

Tidy up the area where you'll be sitting & the area you’ll see beyond the Zoom screen.

Create enough space to lie down if you choose.

Altar Creation Suggestions

Building an altar can help integrate your Full Moon Ritual into your daily life.

Below are suggested items to add. Follow what feels aligned. Listen to your intuition. You can't do this wrong. #YouDoYou

Create an altar inspired by…

  • The current season

  • Ancestors who support you

  • Archetypes who strengthen you

  • Your Full Moon Ritual intention

  • Air, fire, water, earth, & spirit/sacred/divine/mystery

  • Anything else that calls to you & wants to be included!

Tools You’ll Need

Refer to the ritual spellwork for any additional tools (or send me a message through the form below).

Journal & Pen

Have a journal readily available for when intuition strikes. There will also be a facilitated journaling practice during ritual. (You can also explore the prompts in any way that most supports you.)

Water/Tea

Hydration is key. I typically have water, tea, & a bubbly water! Choose whatever you need to feel nourished. I suggest non-caffeinated drinks.

Simple Snack

At the end of ritual we eat our snack as a way to reconnect to the body & the present moment. Chocolate is always a good choice.

Free from the tides of being boxed.

Free from the norms of those who status quo.

Find your path & follow it to the moon."
