Why
Ever since I was little, I've loved having someone in the room with me while I was getting something done.
This could have been cleaning my room, doing my homework, or whatever random thing I did as a little one.
The desire to have another body in the same space with me while I do something has continued throughout my life.
For YEARS I've felt shame over this.
Stories & judgement would roll through my head:
Why can't I just do it on my own?
I rely too much on other people.
What's wrong with me?!
Then I learned about body doubling.
Just like a commenter on this video explaining body-doubling wrote:
I’ve been doing this for years & I didn’t even know it had a name.
This is where co-practicing (my witchy version of body-doubling) comes in.
What
I'm now offering a weekly time so we can virtually "body double" & practice together.
This offering is no cost.
Co-Practice is experimental & can evolve as the needs of the group becomes more clear.
To begin, I envision something like this:
Ground with each other & into our space (quick embodiment practice, intros, & our intentions)
Go off camera to focus on our practice (this could be pulling tarot cards or tidying up your altar or anything between or beyond. Life is practice, practice is magick, & magick is life.)
Come back together to check-in, share reflections, & celebrate!
When
We gather on Wednesdays, which creates a name we're already familiar with: Witchy Wednesdays Co-Practice
We begin Wednesday, April 6th at 1-2pm PT / 4-5pm ET.
We follow the Moon & take a week off each month. (If the Moon "needs" a break from the spotlight, so do we!)
I am committing the spring season for this offering & before summer solstice will decide on the next iteration. I'd love for this to continue if it serves us all.
How
Witchy Wednesdays Co-Practice is hosted within The Circle, our private Mighty Network.
If you are not yet a member of The Circle, you will need to join. It’s easy & zero cost.
